A beautiful smile is the window to your personality and inner beauty. There are four basic steps to caring for teeth and gums:
- Brush at least twice a day. If you can, brush after every meal. Replace your toothbrush every three or four months or sooner if the bristles become worn.
- Floss once a day. Flossing gets rid of food and plaque between the teeth, where your toothbrush cannot reach.
- Eat right. Avoid snacking on sugary foods which can lead to tooth decay.
- Visit your dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral exams.
